STUDIO 1

 

Project breakdown:

The shot will consist of cows escaping a canyon and a giant beast is chasing close behind. The cows will be running away with their legs flying, wide eyed, spit flying, and looking terrified. This single moment in time will be captured with a moving camera. I will also concentrate on camera movement angles and the camera focus. The camera will pan through the scene exposing the details in the models and the environment at several angles.

The scene will show my ability to model real world characters(cows). Fictional characters(the monster) as well as environments(canyon walls, trees, and bushes). Distant objects(open desert) will be inserted as matte paintings. All 3D elements will be textured in detail. High resolution fine details will be modeled in Zbrush.

Built the base meshes for the cows, bulls, calfs, and, the beast. I then roughly placed them and made adjustments to the enviroment (curved the back canyon as suggested). with these adjustments the rest of the enviroment can be made with matte paintings.
